Our vivacious, caring, hard working mum Nesta Wade was born in July 1949, the middle child of 3, daughter of Ray and Joan. Nesta was a trained hairdresser where she met many friends and remained her occupation until the day she was admitted into hospital. Nesta married at a young age and had four children James, Allison, Dean and Toni who went on to give her 12 grand children and 3 great granchildren, whom she doted on. Nesta found love and happiness again with Tom in 1999 after her marriage to Michael broke down after 32 years. Tom and Nesta had many happy years together travelling the world and enjoying each others company until Tom sadly passed away. Still Nesta soldiered on through heartbreak with her family's support until she was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2012. After a masectomy and grueling chemotherapy treatment Nesta started to have breathing difficulties and was finally diagnosed in December 2012 with Idiopathic Lung disease (FIBROSIS). After many admissions into hospital Nesta unfortunately passed away 2nd April 2013 from an infection that her lungs never recovered from. We as a family would like to set up this tribute fund in the hope that as many donations as possible be collected, though unable to help Nesta, may help fund research into this unforgiving disease that took our Precious wonderful Mum.
